In the South-East of Iceland, there is a great place that attracts not only tourists and visitors to the country, but also the local population. It is home to the Skaftafell national Park, founded in 1967. It is difficult not to find it, it is located right at the foot of the amazing and largest Glacier in Iceland Vatnajökull. The Park is protected from the Northern cold winds by high majestic mountains, completely covered with ice.
