At the bottom of the Danish Strait is the world's largest waterfall.
And it is under water. This waterfall separates Greenland and Iceland.
Underwater waterfalls occur due to the difference in temperature and salinity of some parts of the ocean, as well as due to changes in the ocean floor - the Eastern side of the Danish Strait is much colder than the Western one.
