Canadians are proud of their nature and cherish it. Most of the territory of Canada was explored and developed thanks to beavers. Why? In the 1600s-1700s, beaver fur hats were very fashionable in Europe. Thousands of eEuropeans went to Canada to engage in the fur trade and set up trading posts.
