#Bosnia and Herzegovina
The first thing you need to know about Bosnia and Herzegovina is not one country, but two. It would seem that one part is Bosnia, and the other is Herzegovina, but in reality everything is much more complicated. The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a single entity and only makes up half of the country. The second half is called the Republic of Srpska, and it should not be confused with the Republic of Serbia, which is an independent state. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country of mountains. Only a small area in the very North of the country is occupied by lowlands along the Sava river.
