Rhodes, located in the South-East of Greece, is one of the largest Islands in the Aegean sea, part of the Dodecanese group of Islands. In Greek, Rhodes means "island of roses". It was formed as a result of the collapse of the Aegean continent, like most of the Islands of the Aegean sea. Among the Islands, Rhodes is the fourth largest and has the mildest climate.
