Budapest in Hungary was formed in 1873 as a result of the merger of two ancient cities: Pest, which lies on the eastern bank of the Danube, and Buda in the west. Today, Budapest is one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe, which is put on a par with Vienna, Prague and even Florence. There are an incredible number of interesting places here, so it is better to spend a few days exploring this city – especially since the restaurants, hotels and healing baths of Budapest have to stay here longer.
