It does not dry out all year round. It originates west of the Ashton Range and flows north through the Draisdale River National Park, past the Seppelt Range, and reaches the Timor Sea at Kulama Bay. The river flow from a height of 84 meters, creates a fascinating spectacle-the waterfalls of King George.
