This tiny town of winemakers is called the "Sleeping Beauty on the Moselle" because of the fact that time seems to have stopped here. Surprisingly, Beilstein has preserved its charming medieval appearance. Half-timbered houses, sandwiched between the Moselle and the vineyard-covered mountains, rise in terraces up the slopes.
