Hallstatt is a small charming town (community) in Western Austria. With a population of about 800 people, this tiny, picturesque village is located on the shore of the lake of the same name, surrounded by the Alps.

Beautiful gingerbread houses are reflected in the purest water of a mountain lake, narrow streets, small old churches and fantastic natural landscapes - this place is created so that you can take stunning pictures from here, for which we recommend climbing to the observation deck using the funicular (18€), which is already in the city itself. 

💡 From the food, it is worth trying dishes from local fish, König Ludwig Dunkel Braun beer, traditional red beer.
