Petra is an ancient city located in the south-west of Jordan. It is located at an altitude of more than 900 m above sea level in the narrow Sik canyon. The ancient city of Petra belongs to the new wonders of the world, and is also included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. 

One of the main attractions of Peter is the Stone City and the Palace of El-Khazneh - this is the tomb of one of the kings of the Nabataean kingdom. The palace is a monumental building, carved entirely from the rock in the I century, 40 meters high. The stone city boasts more than 800 ancient monuments, which are evidence that people lived here. To this day, it remains a mystery how the builders at that time managed to create such a structure. 

📌The Al-Khazneh Temple is widely known in the world thanks to the Steven Spielberg film "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" because it is the most popular attraction in the district.
