🇳🇱Netherlands, The Village of Zaanse Schans

Zaanse Schans is an ethnographic village in the open air, where a collection of wooden houses and windmills of the ⅩⅦ — веков centuries is collected. It is located on the left bank of the Zaan River, three kilometers north of Zaandam, the administrative center of the Zaanstad community, near Amsterdam. From 1961 to 1974, about 30 samples of wooden architecture of the Netherlands, collected throughout the country, were transported here in parts. In 1994, the Zaans Museum was created, in which a residential Dutch village was reproduced.

The museum features several working mills, a cheese factory, warehouses, sheds and a shoe workshop for the production of typical Dutch shoes - wooden klompov. Here you can walk along an old village street, see the laconic device of rear wipers, living quarters and workshops, tools, mechanisms and everyday objects of residents.
