🇺🇸USA, Fischer Towers
The Fisher Towers are a series of Cutler sandstone towers, clad in Moenkopi sandstone and covered in red mud stucco, located near Moab, Utah. The towers are named after a miner who lived next to them in the 1880s.
In addition to the unusual color, the towers also amaze with the expressiveness of their silhouettes, a huge variety of lines, shapes and textures. On closer inspection, it is clear that nature is working here in large strokes, the works are still far from completion, the work of the master continues.
The official status of Fischer Towers is very modest: this is not a national park, a national monument, or even a Utah state park. This is just a place of recreation(Recreation Site), where a scenic tourist route is laid.
The total length of the route is about 7 km. At first, a gradual climb to 300 m prevails. On the way back, descent prevails, and accordingly, it is easier to go. In general, the trail is considered moderately difficult.
