🇨🇳China, Chongqing City, A stunning road on the Lanshin Cliff, cut down in the mountains.

Located in Wuxi County, in southwestern China, the road to Lanying Cliff is an amazing trail cut in the mountains. Located on the southern slopes of the central Daba Mountains, the extremely narrow road is completely paved. This is the only transport route connecting Lanqing Village with the outside world. 

Previously, residents had to travel almost all day to get out of the mountainous area. The road is steep, in some areas it reaches a slope of 22.9%. The 1.2 km (0.745 mile) long road descends from the cliff face, built by the villagers in 2001, who paved the road along the cliff to better connect the city with the outside world. The road is extremely scary, with a drop of more than 1000 meters. 

From the road there is a magnificent view of the Grand Canyon of Lanshin, the deepest canyon in Chongqing.
