🇩🇰Denmark, Faroe Islands, Tjørnuvík

Tjørnuvík is the northernmost settlement on the island of Eysturoy, Faroe Islands.

The village, located in the municipality of Zunda, has a population of about 71 people.
The village used to be a natural harbor, but after a terrible storm in the 1600s, the fjord was blocked by sand and became more inaccessible.

The black sand beach is known for surfers who are interested in surfing on the wild Faroe Islands.

The village is also famous for two rocks, 71 and 68 meters in height.
