🇨🇭Switzerland

Rheinfall is considered to be the largest waterfall in Europe - in terms of the amount of water thrown down. The waterfall is located almost on the border with Germany, in the north of Switzerland.
The width of the Rhine Waterfall is 150 m, the height is about 23 m. The waterfall has existed here for about 17 thousand years. The waterfall becomes especially impressive in summer, when it gains enormous strength and turns into a solid water cloud with many small rainbows.

If you want to enjoy the waterfall closer - you can take a boat ride. You will be taken to a rocky ledge in the center of the waterfall, where you can slowly climb and be literally in the center of the waterfall.

In addition, you can land on the other side, where an old castle - Schloss Laufen - rises on the mountain near the waterfall. It houses an exhibition dedicated to the Rhine Waterfall and an observation deck overhanging the raging waters of the Rhine Waterfall.
