Lake Braies (Italian: Lago di Braies) is a large mountain lake located in the Trentino Alto Adige region, in the province of Bolzano, at an altitude of 1,496 m above sea level. The total area of the water surface is about 0.31 km2, the maximum depth is 36 m. The lake is located in the Bryes Valley at the foot of the Croda del Becco Mountain.

One of the most popular activities on Lake Bryes is a boat trip. This romantic and relaxing activity, allowing you to fully enjoy the surrounding beauty, was once the only way to cross to the opposite shore.

No less interesting will be a walking tour around the lake, which will take about an hour and a half and is suitable for both adults and children. Along the tourist trail there are places to relax, where you can enjoy fascinating views of Lake Bries in a calm atmosphere and, possibly, have a snack. The total length of the trail is about 3.6 km.
