🇦🇴Angola, 🇳🇦Namibia, Epupa falls
The Epupa Waterfall is formed by the Kunene River in the southwestern part of Africa, just on the border of two states – Angola and Namibia. At this point, the width of the river reaches 500 m, it is always full-flowing, as it is fed by abundant tributaries flowing down from the mountainous side of Angola.
The river flows in streams in the arid zone of the Kaokolands on the side of Namibia, washing numerous narrow channels there. Then it plunges into a 37m high stone fault, forming the highest cascade of the Epupa waterfall, and spreads out in a series of cascades that run down the red stone ledges with noise or even with a roar.
