🇷🇺Russia, Gelendzhik, Blue Abyss

The Blue Abyss is a lagoon located between the village of Divnomorskoye and the village of Dzhankhot, with amazingly clear turquoise water and large white pebbles on the coast. The area got its romantic name due to the fact that after swimming a little deeper into the long plateau, a sharp cliff begins, the depth of which reaches 20 m. If you look at the turquoise water from the sheer cliffs surrounding the lagoon, it seems that the sky reflected in the sea has drowned in it.

Since early spring, the area is literally drowning in all the colors of nature: the sea, the sky, reflections of rocks and clouds in the water, as well as stunning shades of relict Pitsunda pines.

The cliff offers an incredibly beautiful view of Gelendzhik, surrounded by mountains, and the Gelendzhik Lighthouse.
