🇧🇷Brazil, Waterfalls of the Chapada Diamantina National Park
Chapada Diamantina is a famous national reserve located in the vast expanses of the state of Bahia. Its area is 1,520 sq. km., which is very impressive.
Translated, the name of the park sounds like "diamond plateau" for the reason that jewels were actually discovered here. There used to be a real plague in these parts, called diamond fever. Today, the nature park is visited mainly by ecotourism enthusiasts, and previously only jewel hunters could be found here.
Tourists are happy to visit local caves, as well as waterfalls, where special trails lead. Almost all the bright routes originate from the town of Lens.
