🇷🇺Russia, Geyzernoye Ozero

Geyzernoye Ozero is a unique attraction located near the village of Aktash in the Eastern Altai. This is a small thermal lake about 30 meters in diameter, in the center of which springs are beating, forming a bizarre pattern on the bottom, thanks to which the lake looks very picturesque and impressive.

The lake has several names, including Blue or Silver.

Due to the bluish clay at the bottom, in the middle of the lake has a unique turquoise color with oval round streaks. They are formed under the influence of geyser eruptions that raise what is at the bottom to the surface.

The maximum depth of the lake is only 2 meters, and the water is crystal clear, so the clay patterns on the bottom can be observed from any shore and in any weather. On all sides, the lake is closed by tall larch trees, which only adds to the picturesque place.

The water in the lake does not freeze all year round, even at temperatures below 0 degrees.
