Venezuela🇻🇪, Angel Waterfall
Angel is the world's highest waterfall, with a total height of 979 m. The length from the cliff to the first obstacle in the way of water is 807 m, after that the stream overcomes another 172 m. For comparison, Angel is 3 times larger than the Eiffel Tower and 20 times larger than Niagara Falls.
The unique creation of nature is located in the dense forests of Venezuela and is a treasure of the Canaima National Park, on the territory of which it is located. The flow of water fills the Kerep River and partially dissipates in the form of small particles forming fog. Moisture in the air is felt within a few kilometers.
The power of the waterfall depends on the time of year. When the rains go away, the volume of water in Angel falls: most often the stream splits into two, sometimes turning into a very small jet. During such periods of drought, a pond is formed at the foot of the waterfall in which you can swim.
