Germany 🇩🇪, Cherry Blossom Tunnel in Bonn 🌸
Every year in spring, the ordinary streets of the old district in Bonn, Germany, turn into an incredibly beautiful tunnel of blooming cherry trees. All the streets are flooded with a pleasant pink color, crowds of tourists come here to see all the beauty of Japanese sakura (cherry).
The city itself was founded by the Romans in the first century. But by the 1980s, the city center was quite gloomy and polluted. And in order to somehow improve the ecology in the city itself, it was decided to plant a huge number of Japanese cherry trees.
After a successful series of photos taken in 2012, the place became famous and tourists from other countries went there.
Sakura blooms in spring in April and blooms for only 7-10 days and turns the streets of the old city into an incredibly beautiful tunnel of cherry blossoms. Also during the cherry blossom festival begins "Cherry Blossom".
