Malaysia 🇲🇾, Petronas Towers
Petronas Towers are located in the capital of Malaysia, the metropolis of Kuala Lumpur. This is the most famous and most visited attraction of the city for the past two decades.
The twin towers were built in 1998. The shape of the towers is similar to two corn cobs. The overall design reminds that Malaysia is a Muslim country. The Islamic style is expressed in the form of the bases of the towers, which form an 8-terminal star from two squares — this form is a symbol of integrity, unity, harmony and stability in this religion.
Petronas Towers are a real masterpiece of architecture and engineering. Both towers are 88-storeyed (452 meters), and the total area of all internal premises is equal to 48 football fields.
Petronas is still the tallest twin towers on Earth.
