⛰️Seljalandsfoss Waterfall #Iceland🇮🇸
🔶The Seljalandsfoss Waterfall is one of the few water cascades that can be walked around and viewed from all sides.
🔶The peculiarity of the waterfall is that the water jets do not flow down the surface of the rock, but fall from a steep cliff 60 meters high, forming a spacious natural cave right behind the water wall. There is a stunning view from there.
🔶🗿The cliff used to be a seashore, but over hundreds of years the coastline has moved away from it by several kilometers. Now there are spacious green plains on the site of the former seabed, emphasizing the majesty of the water flow.
Unlike most of Iceland's attractions, you don't have to climb mountains or rough terrain for a long time to get to Seljalandsfoss. It is located right next to the ring road — an asphalt path less than 200 meters long leads there from the highway.
