🏡The village of Houtouwan 🇨🇳

🔶About 50 years ago, life in the Chinese village of Hutuvan, located in the east of the country on one of the islands of the Shengshi archipelago, was in full swing: about 2,000 fishermen lived here with their families and there was a large port from where the caught fish were sent to the mainland. However, in the 1990s, the port fell into disrepair, and soon the island was deserted. There were only a few dozen residents who had nowhere to go.

🔶Almost 20 years have passed since the moment, and the village of Hutuvan was completely at the mercy of nature. Ivy and other plants tightly clung to all the buildings, which now look at the world with black gaps of window frames. The sinister and at the same time attractive place has become a tourist attraction in recent years, where not only guests of China, but also citizens of the country are eager to come.
