🔶The Queluz Palace is an amazing place in Portugal, the construction of which was inspired by the French Versailles. The palace and Park complex is located in the city of Sintra. It is built in an elegant and quaint Rococo style for the Portuguese kings of the Braganza dynasty. The palace was a summer residence, and with the abolition of the monarchy it became one of the most important sights of the country. 
It has been open to the public since 1940.
