China 🇨🇳, Furong City (Waterfall City)
🔶The ancient city of Furong (or as it is also called Hibiscus Town) is located in the Chinese province of Hunan, in southeastern China. It has become a tourist attraction due to its picturesque views. The town is neatly perched above the waterfall of the Yu River . In the high water season, the waterfall from a height of 60 meters tumbles into the lake with boiling streams, and in dry periods it falls down in beautiful streams, exposing the stone walls. The history of this charming town dates back more than 2000 years. Today, about 22к people live here permanently, but the city seems more densely populated thanks to the numerous tourists. Seasoned travelers are advised to come here from April to October to fully enjoy the views and weather.
