🔶Bromo Volcano is a bright peak of the Tenger Caldera in the Bromo-Tenger-Semeru National Park. It is located in the eastern part of the island of Java, in Indonesia. The height of the volcano reaches 2392 meters, and the diameter of the crater is 600 meters. The name "Bromo", translated from Javanese, means the name of the god of the Hindu trinity —Brahma.

🔶The best time to visit the volcano is from April to October. The rainy season lasts from December to March. During the day it is cool here, the temperature is no more than +20 ° C.

🔶Ascent to the volcano is possible from 7 am to 5 pm. The way to the foot through the caldera will take no more than 30 minutes. You will have to walk through volcanic ash and sand dunes past rock carvings and a Hindu temple. Some prefer to travel by horse.
