🌉China 🇨🇳, Shanghai, Nanpu Bridge

🔶Nanpu Bridge - it is spoken of as one of the most beautiful bridges in the world. And yet, this bridge at one time became the first cable-stayed bridge in China.

🔶The Nanpu Bridge is a rope suspension bridge, ranked fourth in the world in terms of the largest suspension bridges with two supports. It was put into operation in early December 1991. The total length of the bridge is 8346 meters. The length of its main span is 846 meters, the width is 31 meters and the height is 46 meters, allowing ships of quite impressive size (displacement up to 55,000 tons) to pass under it.

🔶On average, about 120,000 cars pass through this bridge every day. The central supports in the form of the letter H rise 150 meters. The length of the central span (the distance between the two main pillars) of the Nanpu Bridge reaches 423 m. Nad npu was the leader among suspension bridges in China until it was bypassed by the new Yangpu Bridge.
