🏞️Austria🇦🇹, Gesäuse Nature Reserve

🔶This mountainous park is located on the territory of Styria, it stretches along the valley of the Ens River. Picturesque local landscapes attract a large number of tourists and wildlife lovers to the park: rare animals and plants live on the territory of the reserve. The Gesäuse National Park is spread over an area of 110 km2.

🔶Basically, the territory of the park is a mountainous area, the highest is the Hochtor Mountain, whose height is 2,369 meters. The mountains are covered with forests and green pastures, and at their foot flows the stormy river Ens. Even the Gesäuse logo shows three stripes — gray, green and blue, symbolizing, respectively, mountains, forests and water.

🔶Forests in the national park are located on different types of terrain and at different heights. Therefore, a huge variety of natural communities has arisen here.
