🔶Ancient Petra is a unique rock city, which until the beginning of the XIX century was known only to local Bedouins. They kept the secret for centuries, not letting outsiders in, because they believed that the royal treasures were hidden somewhere here. Today, an unusual attraction is open to millions of tourists.

🔶Petra is called a "pink" city because of the characteristic shade of the rocks, which increases during the hours of sunrise and sunset. The layered structure of sandstone creates an incredible palette of colors, changing depending on the illumination, and delights with unimaginable drawings and divorces created by nature itself.

🔶Petra is hiding from civilization in southwest Jordan, near the border with Israel.

🔶The city rises 900m above sea level, more than 650m above the surrounding plateau. The entrance portal, which opens a fabulous path in the era of ancient times, is carried out from the side of the town of Wadi Musa.
