🏯Japan 🇯🇵, Kenroku-en Garden
🔶The symbol of the Japanese city of Kanazawa is the ancient Kenroku-en garden. The garden was named "Kenroku-en" (Garden of six Virtues) due to the fact that it has 6 virtues that create a beautiful garden: vastness, privacy, artificiality of creation, traditional forms, water sources and majestic view.
Kenroku-en was founded in 1676.
🔶On the territory of the 25-acre park there are more than 8000 trees, over 200 varieties of flowers and herbs, there are picturesque ponds, restless waterfalls, talkative streams with carved bridges and much more. Among the attractions of the park are the ancient fountain, the water in which circulates under natural pressure, the Yugao—tei tea house, built in 1774, the Ganko-basi Bridge, made of 11 huge red stones and the Kotoji lantern - a symbol of the garden and the city of Kanazawa.
