Bulgaria 🇧🇬, Seven Rila Lakes

🔶The natural pearl of Bulgaria, the high-altitude Rila lakes are located at an altitude of 2100-2500 meters above sea level. The landscape around is unearthly: there is not too much greenery, mostly mountains — and, of course, the purest water, in which the sky is reflected. The lakes are glacial, so the water is very cold: you won't be able to hold your hand for a minute. In general, there is no question of bathing.

🔶The main system of the Rila lakes includes seven — Fish, Long, Shamrock, Gemini, Kidney, Eye and Tear. The tear is the highest and cleanest, the water is so transparent that it allows you to see far into the depths. The Lake of Eyes is perfectly oval in shape. The Kidney lake resembles this organ in shape. Gemini is the largest lake in the park. The shamrock also bears this name because of its shape. The shallowest lake is the Fish Lake, and the Bottom One is located below all of them.
