⛰️Peru 🇵🇪, Huascaran
🔶Huascaran National Park is a natural park of the Peruvian Andes zone, the most famous natural attraction of the Ancash region, Peru.
🔶The park is located on the territory of two very contrasting mountain ranges, which can be seen even by their name — Cordillera Blanca, which means White Cordillera, so named because of the abundance of tall peaks covered with eternal snow and Cordillera Negra, that is, the Black Cordillera.
🔶In 1985, UNESCO included this park in the List of Natural Heritage of Mankind. There are several walking routes of different difficulty categories on its territory, both for professional climbers and for ordinary mortals — lovers of trekking, hiking and horseback riding.
🔶In total, 663 glaciers, 296 lakes and 41 rivers are concentrated in the park on an area of 3,400 km2. The most spectacular and picturesque of its many lakes are Llanganuco and Paron.
