Great Britain 🇬🇧, Beachy Head Cape

🔶Beachy Head Cape is the highest seaside chalk cliff in the UK (162 meters), a famous natural landmark in the vicinity of Eastbourne

🔶For a long time, the high cape was a landmark for English sailors, even mentioned in British folklore — the folk song Spanish Ladies.

🔶The Belle Tout lighthouse on the sea at the cape was built in 1831. The chosen location, rather unusual for a lighthouse, is actually explained simply: so that the fog and low clouds over the cape do not hide the light of the lighthouse.

🔶The chalk cape Beachy Head managed to light up in a whole galaxy of British films: in "Bond" and the fourth Harry Potter film, "Brighton Rock" in 2010 and other famous films.

🔶Currently, the cape remains a popular tourist destination, which also includes a visit to the Seven Sisters Cliffs.
