🔶Montjuic Mountain is part of the Collserola mountain range, a spur of the Catalan coastal Range in southeastern Spain. The height of Montjuic is 177.7 m . This famous hill dominates the port of Barcelona. Around the mountain is one of the 10 administrative districts of the city – Sants-Montjuic. Landscape parks have been planned here, ornamental gardens have been planted, numerous historical and architectural monuments, museums, art galleries, theaters, and outstanding sports facilities are located. Today Montjuic Mountain is the center of Barcelona's attractions.

🔶The architectural dominant of Montjuic hill is the castle bearing the name of the mountain. This mighty fortress was built in 1640 and significantly expanded in 1751.
