Irish🇮🇪, Dingle Peninsula

🔶The Dingle Peninsula in the southwestern part of Ireland is the northernmost of the five peninsulas that jut into the waters of the Atlantic like the fingers of a hand, and Cape Dunmore Head is known as the westernmost point of the mainland of Ireland. On each of the peninsulas there are mountain ranges, and on the Dingle Peninsula there are Sliv Mish Mountains. The highest peak is Brandon with a height of 953m, the second highest peak in Ireland.

🔶The peninsula is known for its magnificent landscapes and stunning monuments of the early Christian era, Iron Age fortifications and picturesque gorges. Dingle is a wonderfully located village at the foot of Ballysitterach Mountain. Fishing boats are still going to the harbor, which is almost closed by us, so we can consider the village an ideal base for exploring the antiquities on the peninsula. The main attraction is the dolphin Fangi, who has been living in the bay since 1984.
