⛰️New Zealand🇳🇿, Mount Cook National Park

🔶This park, also known as Aoraki, no less than Arthur's Pass, conveys the spirit of a real Alpine area - there is no escape from high snow—capped peaks, glaciers and snowfields. The park is named after the highest mountain in New Zealand — Mount Cook with a height of 3754 meters, on which Sir Edmund Hillary trained before conquering Jomolungma.

🔶In total, there are 23 peaks in this National Park, exceeding 3 kilometers in height. One of the attractions is the Tasman Glacier, reaching 27 kilometers in length.

🔶The starting point for tourists is the village of Aoraki, through which Highway 80 passes. Near the village there is a picturesque lake Pukaki. In total, 17 huts are equipped here for the needs of park guests, designed mainly for climbers.
