🔶Lake Powell is not a natural lake. It was formed above a dam with a power plant blocking the Colorado River. The Colorado flows through soft limestone rocks, forming canyons in many places. The largest and most famous of them is the Grand Canyon. But there are others, for example, located next to Page Glen Canyon. It follows the Colorado riverbed, and numerous tributary canyons flow into it. The water in Lake Powell is bright blue, the sky above the lake is bright blue. Incredible landscapes, numerous fjords flowing into the main canyon, small sandy beaches hidden behind rocks, caves, arches, silence and tranquility make this place ideal for relaxing on a boat or yacht. The relative remoteness from densely populated areas does not contribute to a too rapid influx of tourists, which also adds charm to this place.
