Russia 🇷🇺, Altai, Kucherlinsky lake

🔶One of the largest Altai reservoirs has glacial origin and is famous for its amazing turquoise hue. It is located at an altitude of 1.7 km above sea level at the foot of Belukha. It stretches for 4.8 km in length, 0.75 km in width. It is surrounded by picturesque rocks of the Katun ridge, slopes densely overgrown with greenery descend to the shores.

🔶In clear weather, mountain peaks and majestic forests are reflected in the mirror surface. Sparkling streams run down from the ledges into the water. In the vicinity there are roe deer, snow leopards, mountain goats. Below Kucherlinsky stretches a small lake Kichinek, above – Orokol. These places are characterized by a sharp change in the weather, even in summer snow can fall. You need to take warm clothes and comfortable shoes with you.
