Puerto Rico
🇵🇷, Culebra Island, Flamenco beach

Flamenco Beach is a beach on the Caribbean island of Culebra. It is known for its shallow turquoise waters, white sand, swimming spots and diving spots. It stretches for a mile around a sheltered bay in the shape of a horseshoe. Playa Flamenco is a popular place for beach holidays both on the island of Culebra and in Puerto Rico.

In March 2014, Flamenco Beach took 3rd place among the best beaches in the world according to TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Award.

Off the coast of Flamenco, about a quarter of a mile away, there is a reef where the surf breaks. Flamenco is characterized by white sand and shallow water with clear water.

Culebra Island in Puerto Rico has always been famous for its stunning white beaches and wildlife, but shortly before World War II, the US Navy used the picturesque island to test the skills of soldiers, leaving behind several tanks that are still rusting on a tropical Flamenco beach.
