USA 🇺🇸, Montana, St. Mary's Lake
In the state of Montana, on the territory of Glacier National Park, there is a beautiful lake of St. Mary. The picturesque lake is located in the eastern part of the boundaries of the reserve and is one of the largest.
This is probably the most picturesque place. Panoramas of the lake, neatly placed between the mountains, seem fabulous. The gently sloping shore, where century-old trees scatter, sometimes gives way to sharp cliffs. The water in the lake is almost turquoise. The reservoir itself is the purest vessel of life-giving moisture. The temperature in it is low all year round, since St. Mary does not warm up.
The park and lakes are located in the very north of the United States on the border with Canada. Previously, there were about 150 glaciers on the territory of Glacier, but in the XX century many of them disappeared as a result of climate mitigation, forming magnificent lakes in the park.
