Iceland 🇮🇸, Skaugafoss Waterfall
The south of Iceland is a place of unique natural beauty, and one of these attractions is the stunning Skaugafoss Waterfall, created by the Skaugau River.
The width of the waterfall is about 25 meters, and the height of the falling water flows can be compared with a 20-storey building (60 meters)! On cloudless, clear days, as a result of a huge amount of splashes formed by a falling stream of shining water, you can admire a rainbow, and sometimes more than one.
The waterfall can be reached by a specially conducted hiking trail that leads up to the Fimmvurduhauls pass, located between the Eyjafjallajekull and Myrdalsjekull glaciers. Then the trail of tourists descends to the colorful Torsmerk Valley.
