Vipiteno is a small town in the Italian Alps, in South Tyrol, located at an altitude of 950 meters above sea level. Vipiteno is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, its name constantly flashes in the constantly compiled various ratings.

The city has its roots in 14 BC, when Nero Claudius Drusus founded a military camp called "Vipitenum" along the road between Italy and Germany.
