Russia🇷🇺, Khakassia, Oglakhty Mountain

Oglakhty is a 15 km long mountain range located on the left bank of the Yenisei in the Bogradsky district of the Republic of Khakassia. The Krasnoyarsk reservoir was built on this stretch of the Yenisei, 50 km south of the mountain range is the capital of Khakassia — Abakan.

The relative height of the ridge is from 100 to 150 m, the highest point is Mount Oglakhty (580 m above sea level). The northern part of the territory is covered with birch groves, and steppe vegetation dominates the rest of the slopes.

Petroglyphs of the Oglakhtinsky ridge are the largest "picture gallery" of rock art in Khakassia (see in the comments. Some of the images carved on the rocks are at least 5000 years old. These are images of wild animals — wild boars, bears, moose and deer. Scientists find rock art, which is correlated with different periods of history from the Neolithic to the beginning of the twentieth century.
