Sweden 🇸🇪, eco-hotel Treehotel

Northern Sweden is known for its natural beauty, extensive forests and distinctive biosphere. Strong climatic contrasts during the seasons required very stable architectural types incorporating local materials of wood and stone.

In close cooperation with Treehotel and Swedish ornithologist Ulf Oman, the new Biosphere Hotel room will bring 350 bird houses to the famous hotel. BIG's experimental design, suspended in the Harada Pines, is the eighth hotel room in the hotel and aims to improve the surrounding biosphere.

Having designed a hotel room on top of a tree with a facade of bird nests, Biosphere has set itself the goal of preserving the bird population in Swedish forests and strengthening the biosphere and natural habitat.

The interior of the 34 m2 hotel room combines rich dark interiors and organic materials inspired by the surrounding landscape, which further enhance the attention of visitors to the outside world and focus on the natural beauty of the surroundings.
