Rovinj is a small seaside town in western Croatia. It is located on the Adriatic coast of the Istrian peninsula. 

Rovinj is one of the most picturesque and charming cities in the Mediterranean, which enchants with Venetian architecture and a maze of narrow streets, red tiled roofs and ancient buildings, a wonderful atmosphere and stunning sunsets. Its historical center is located on an island that was connected to the mainland only in the 18th century. 

Rovinj combines rich traditions and modernity, provincial charm and resort status in an interesting way. This town is still a fishing port, so the seafood here is the freshest and tastiest. 

The core of the old town mainly belongs to the Venetian period. Most of the old buildings are built of pale limestone, which looks amazing at sunrise and sunset.
