A very unusual residential building for New York was built by the Danish architectural bureau Bjarke Ingels Group.
The building is a hybrid of a European apartment building and a New York skyscraper.
Three corners of the house are located relatively low, and the fourth soars up, which is why the building VIA 57 West looks like either a distorted pyramid or a glass spire, depending on the viewing point.
There is a garden in the courtyard, which is planted with 47 species of local plants.
