The Aare Gorge is a unique transverse valley of the Haslital Alpine massif. The Aare River has paved a stunningly beautiful 1.4 km long channel through the gorge, the depth of which reaches 200 meters, and the width in some places does not exceed 1 meter!

This miracle of nature attracted attention with its mystery and beauty so much that in 1887 the Canton of Bern granted permission to build a gallery for tourists.
