Kalavantin Durg Peak with a height of 685 m is located in the mountains of Maharashtra. There are exactly 700 steps cut into the solid rock, stretching upwards almost vertically, leading to its top.

The steps are incredibly dangerous, especially if it rains. They are too smooth, as if polished, so slipping on them and sliding down is a couple of trifles.
